Milwaukee - Fourteen different Panthers claimed wins as both the UWM men's and women's teams took a dual meet from Horizon League rival Butler on Saturday afternoon at the Klotsche Center Pool. The men were victorious, 128-73, while the ladies scored a 142-75 win.

On Senior Day, Nic Seider, Erin Pollyea and Todd Murray each claimed a win in their last home dual meet, while fellow senior Kelly Goetsch took a pair of wins. Goetsch won the 200 free and the 100 free, Murray took first in the 200 breast and Seider won first in the 1m diving. Pollyea claimed victory in the 200 breast.

Freshman Michael Belting also picked up a pair of wins, winning the 1000 free and the 500 free. David Faust took second in both of those same events.

In the women's 1m diving, Krystina Herzog set a new UWM record with a score of 289.65. Her score breaks the old mark of 280.25, set by Leigh Ann Mrotek in 1996.

Other winners for the Panthers included Jen Kedinger in the 1000 free, Kari Kinney in the 200 IM, Sarah Walby in the 500 free, Ben Creydt in the 50 free, Peter Clark in the 200 fly, Adam Steffes in the 100 free, and Sean Tepper in the 200 back.

For the Bulldogs, Carlton Racette, Brendan Van Cleve and Kaylee Quilling each took a victory. Butler also won both the men's and women's 400 free relay.

The Bulldogs will be back in town next week to compete in the Bill Ritter Invitational, along with UIC, Illinois State's women, UW-Green Bay and Marquette's club team. The invitational begins on Friday with the diving competition at 11 a.m. and the first of three swimming sessions at 5:30 p.m.
