The Panthers (2-2) did claim a pair of singles wins but could not overcome a number of strong efforts by the Mastodons. Senior Kari Kastenholz earned one of the points for Milwaukee, claiming a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win over Yuka Kobayashi at number-four singles. Then, freshman Brittany Skemp captured a 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 victory over Alex Forsyth in the number-six slot. But, IPFW had already won the doubles point by capturing all three doubles contests and the Mastodons also won the remaining four singles outings in straight sets.]]></description>
