Kelling was UWM's women's head basketball coach from 1978 to 1995. She posted a career record of 284-198, with a .589 winning percentage and an average of 16.7 wins per season. Kelling coached four basketball All- Americans, two National All-Americans, two Regional All-Americans, five District All-Americans, eight All- Conference players and four All-District players. Her teams won four NAIA District 14 Championships, including three-straight from 1983-1985. Her teams also made two national tournament appearances and played in the AIAW Regionals in 1981 and 1982. She received numerous coaching accolades, including four-time NAIA District 14 Coach of the Year and WWIAC Coach of the Year (1980). |
