Single-Game Basketball Tickets Now On SaleOct. 25, 2006 MILWAUKEE - Single-game tickets for all University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's and women's basketball games are now on sale. Tickets are available through all Milwaukee-area Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 414-276-4545 or online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets to men's games run from $10-$20, while women's tickets are available for between $5 and $10. As always, UWM students are admitted free with a valid UWM ID. Among the games highlighting the 2006-07 men's basketball schedule are the three nights of the John Thompson Foundation Classic at the U.S. Cellular Arena. UWM is joined in the tournament by Washington State, UAB and Radford. Two games will be played each night from Nov. 10-12, with the Panthers playing in the second game of the night each day. Other key dates include a Jan. 17 contest with UIC, a Jan. 27 date with UW-Green Bay and a Feb. 14 outing against Loyola. On the women's side, highlighted games include a contest with Marquette Nov. 29, a game with Air Force Dec. 7 and a showdown with UW-Green Bay Feb. 10. Each team will also play two exhibition contests before starting the regular season. The men play UW-Parkside Nov. 1 and Edgewood Nov. 6, while the women will face Concordia (Wis.)
