Verizon Wireless Panther Blog Zone Makes DebutSept. 8, 2008 MILWAUKEE - Fans of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee athletics teams have another new avenue for in-depth information on Panther athletics. The department has debuted the Verizon Wireless Panther Blog Zone, which is accessible directly from the official athletics website, uwmpanthers.com. The blog can also be directly accessed here. The blog is designed to provide information beyond what is regularly posted on the main website. All three members of the sports information staff - Kevin O'Connor, Kevin Conway and Chris Zills - will be the main contributors to the site. Regular features will include additional notes and observations about various events, special insights on players and teams as well as behind the scenes information that wouldn't regularly fit into the traditional "news release" format.
