Panthers Ink 13 To National Letters Of Intent For Track & Field

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (July 28, 2006) - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee head track and field and cross country coach Pete Corfeld has announced his 13-member 2006 recruiting class today. Seven men and six women have signed National Letters of Intent to attend UWM and compete with the Panther track and field and cross country teams.

Rasheedah Helm of Sheboygan, Wis., Erin Havener of Green Bay, Wis., Kelsey Conrad of Robbinsdale, Minn., Carly Behnke of Belle Plaine, Minn., Jamie Woods of Glendale, Wis., and Laura Ring of Twin Lakes, Wis. will join the Panthers for the 2006-07 track and field season.

Tyler Bucholz of Crystal Minn., Quinn Mongoven of Genoa City, Wis., and Leonard Ward/Buckner of Wauwatosa, Wis. have signed NLIs to compete in track and field. Meanwhile, Malachi Cate of Iola, Wis., Matt Dreifke of Kenosha, Wis., Ryan Mleziva of Luxemburg, Wis., and Andrew Fox of Waukesha, Wis. will participate in both track and cross country for the Panthers.
